Registration for the 2023-24 school year will begin March 1st.

Online Registration Application

 

2023-24 Registration will begin March 1st.  Please revisit this page anytime after March 1st to access the online registration link located within your Parent Portal account.

To add a PK and/or Kindergarten student, please use the “Add New Student” button located on the “Student” tab.

Once you have submitted a completed application, you’ll receive an email with the next steps in the process.  Once fees are applied, all student, transportation and nutrition fees can be paid using RevTrak online payments.

Preschool Registration Information

Norwalk Community Schools partner with local preschool centers to provide the Universal Preschool Program.

In order to register for Universal Preschool, students must be 4 years old before September 15th.

Preschool students will register as a “NEW” student on the online registration application in your parent portal account when registering existing students.

Once logged in the online registration application within your parent portal account you will find the “Add New Student” button on the “Student” tab.

Kindergarten Registration Information

Registration for the 2023-24 school year will begin March 1st.  Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 15th.

Students who attended one of the Norwalk Universal Preschool programs in the previous year will need to register as a “NEW” student on the same application when registering their other students in the household.

Once logged in the online registration application within your parent portal account you will find the “Add New Student” button on the “Student” tab.

The following documentation is required to enroll for Kindergarten:

  • Age Verification (ie Birth Certificate, Custody Documentation, DHS Documentation)
  • Immunization Record
  • Dental Screening
  • Vision Screening
  • Home Language Survey

Once you have submitted a completed application, you’ll receive an email with the next steps in the process.  Once fees are applied, all student, transportation and nutrition fees can be paid using RevTrak online payments.

Transportation

For all registrations received after August 1st, the District may impose a two-week delay between when your student’s enrollment is approved and when the student is placed on a bus route. If the student’s pick up or drop off location(s) are in a Pay-for-Ride area the delay could be longer or no bussing available. Pay-for-Ride is an optional service and available seats are limited.
