May 9, 2025, is School Communicators Day!
Each year, the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) celebrates this special day on the second Friday in May to honor the vital contributions of school public relations professionals. At NCSD, our Marketing and Communications Department—established just five years ago—plays a leading role in advancing key initiatives that strengthen and support our district’s growth and mission.
· Streamlining and unifying all school and district communications on an ongoing basis
· Building and maintaining a strong, consistent presence across social media platforms
· Overseeing district branding efforts, including the continuous management of the district website
· Managing in-house sponsorship efforts, generating approximately $60,000 annually to support district programs and activities
· Cultivating strong partnerships with local media and community organizations to enhance public engagement
