The Norwalk Community School District will be running a normal early out schedule on Wednesday, December 15. Activity practices will need to end by 3:30 pm.  All evening activities in NCSD facilities will be canceled or postponed. While we normally don’t alter the school schedule due to high wind, with a warning of this nature for high profile vehicles (including school buses) with sustained heavy winds late in the day and gusts predicted up to 70 mph, we would rather take a “better safe than sorry” approach with regards to student, driver, and community safety.  That latest briefing from the National Weather Service can also be seen here.
