NOTICE TO BIDDERS 00 11 13 – 1 Story Construction DOCUMENT 00 11 13 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: Sealed bids will be received for Multiple Prime Construction Contracts by the Norwalk Community School District for the:
PROJECT TITLED: PECC & CLASSROOM ADDITION TO NORWALK SECONDARY CAMPUS
The project consists of construction of approximately 93,500 square feet of addition to the southern portion of the existing High School and approximately 57,700 square feet of varying degrees of renovation to select areas of the existing adjacent High School and Eastview buildings along with associated site development, site improvements and other miscellaneous campus and building work.
Separate lump-sum bids will be received for:

Bid Package No. 09-1 – Gypsum Board Assemblies & ACT Ceilings Work
Bid Package No. 09-5 – Finish Flooring Work
Bid Package No. 09-7 – Paint & Coating Work
Bid Package No. 09-8 – Athletic Flooring Work

All work and equipment is to be in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents on file with the Norwalk Community School District, which are by this reference made a part of this notice as though fully set out and incorporated herein.
BID SUBMISSION & OPENING: Bid Date: Wednesday, March 10, 2021
Bid Time: prior to 3:00 P.M. (Local Time), according to the designated clock.
Bid Location: Norwalk CSD Eastview 8/9 School Building Administrative Office (near the east main entrance of the building) 1600 North Ave, Norwalk, IA 50211
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud following the closing of the bid period. Due to COVID-19 restrictions only project administrative staff will be allowed at bid opening.
