Norwalk High School is seeking a few internship placements for the second semester. The internship program provides seniors with a tailored experience that aligns with their future career aspirations, helping them explore a chosen career field alongside industry experts. These students have completed a rigorous application process and have been selected for this capstone experience.
We are currently searching for placements in the following fields for the 2nd semester:

Electrical
-
Dietitian
-
Radiology or healthcare related

Business/Finance

Law
What does an internship entail?
Internship Requirements for Placement Host:

Host a student intern for 8–10 hours per week (approximately 120 hours per semester).

Student availability depends on their class schedule and extracurricular activities, allowing for flexible scheduling.

Example 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Example 2: Monday–Thursday, 8–10 a.m.

Internship dates: January 21 to May 16. If you cannot commit to an entire semester, we can create a mini-internship with a second placement.

Provide training and a variety of work experiences that contribute to the student’s career goals.

Opportunities can include general clerical work, allowing the student to observe staff and learn field-specific vocabulary.

Payment: Hosts are not required to pay the student. The internship can be paid, unpaid, or offered as a scholarship opportunity if the student finishes in good standing.
