We are partnering with the Foodbank of Iowa to create a food pantry at Norwalk High School. Our orders come every two weeks, and we have frozen and refrigerated products, boxes of cereal, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, canned vegetables, and lots more. If you (or someone you know) and your student needs food at home, let the High School Counseling Center know and we can get you connected to our food pantry. There is a process involved and, because some of the food in the pantry is USDA, there is some paperwork involved for the families that will be kept on file for a year. We also have to keep track of the number of people in the household that we are sending food home to for the Food Bank’s records.
