Norwalk Families and Students:
The Norwalk Community School District would like to inform families about new safety and security measures that will be enforced once you have gained admittance to upcoming football games.
Due to the size of the crowds that we are experiencing at home varsity football games on Friday nights, the Norwalk Community School District in conjunction with the Norwalk Police Department will be implementing new security measures for the safety and well-being of fans attending games beginning with the Homecoming game against Carlisle on Friday, September 27 and through the rest of the season. There will be security and police personnel at both the home and visitor entrances. The following are the security measures that will be implemented and enforced beginning on Sept. 27. Enforcement of these security measures will begin at 7 PM and last until the conclusion of the game. The following are the security measures that will be implemented but not limited to:
1.Students will not be allowed re-entry into the stadium after 7 PM. If you exit after 7 PM you will not be allowed to re-enter. No Exceptions! This will be the case at both the home and visitor entrances.
2. All drink containers and bottles are prohibited no matter if they are sealed or unsealed (This will also include adults and parents.
3. Coolers are prohibited.
4. The following will also be prohibited: skateboards, footballs, soccer balls, or any other such objects.
We ask that all students be seated in the stadium bleachers during the game and should not be playing or loitering in the concession area or behind the stadium bleachers.
